Falling Water: Season 1
A number of people with no connection to each other, slowly realise they are all dreaming separate pieces of a common dream. Clues within those dreams help them find solutions to the mysteries within, which include finding a missing girlfriend, a lost child and talking with a relative. By following the dreams they discover a much larger plan is at play and the stakes are far higher than any individual agenda.
Falling water has an interesting concept of a shared dreamscape and being able to enter and control other peoples’ dreams. This show could have been filled with complexity and intrigue and done so much more. Sadly the series fails to deliver on any of that and instead lacks imagination and churns out a story that is at times boring and lacking anything that could redeem itself. Seen as this is a one-season show I’d probably give this a miss.
