Lucifer: Season 2
Lucifer returns for its second hellish outing. God’s wife (Lucifer’s mom) escapes from hell and inhabits the body of a young and stunning lawyer. It’s down to Lucifer to see the deal he made with God through and return her to hell or incite the wrath of God and lose Chloe Deckers life but Lucifer decides that mom’s punishment should be to stay on earth with the humans she so despises. Are there other things at play and what is his mother up to? Tune in to find out.
Lucifer has certainly found it’s stride and comes back with all his devilish charm. Casting Tricia Helfer of Battlestar Galactica fame works pretty damn well with the tone of the series and in the role of Lucifer’s mother. The performances given by both really help build on the first season and deliver a much better and brilliant season. This show is well worth checking out.
