Once Upon a Time: Disney Meets Lost
Once upon a time, in a land far far away, lived fairytale characters each with their own happy endings. Until the Evil Queen cursed them all to a life in the real world – OUR world.
The show follows all our favourite, well known fairytale characters in their new life – completely unaware of their true identity or the curse that they live under. That is, until a young boy learns the truth in a storybook and is determined to set things right.
As the story unfolds we delve into the past, learning the horrors the characters faced in their old lives while the battle between good and evil continues to rage centuries later, in the once quiet town of Storybrooke in Maine.
The pilot is a little slow.. but be persistent, it's a brilliant show. Full of twists and turns and quite dark themes, but still maintaining the fantasy element that makes fairytales so magic and entertaining. Well worth a watch – I can't wait to see how it ends!
