Penny Dreadful: Season 2
Penny Dreadful returns, and what a return it is. Despite the first season being slow moving and focused more on character development than story, season two kicks off relatively fast moving. This season has definitely found its stride as Miss Ives and Sir Malcolm find themselves up against a coven of witches intent on releasing the mother of all evil.
I cannot rate this season highly enough, the writing and delivery of those lines in show is truly incredible. The sets, the costumes and gothic feel is breath taking, the entire show is stylish and elegant, not to mention the acting. This is Eva Green at her finest and probably her best acting to date!
This show is a definite must for all TV lovers!
