Penny Dreadful: Season 3
The incredibly dark and stylish psychological thriller that is Penny Dreadful returns, for its third and sadly final outing. It is said that good things should end on a high note and this show really couldn’t get much higher.
First were the creatures and their master in season 1, and then came the witches in season two. Season 3 picks off where the last season ended with each of the main characters following their own direction and path. Fate however seems intent on reuniting them all to face a new and possibly darkest threat yet which has its eye focused squarely on Vanessa.
This season sees the introduction of new well known classic characters that fit in remarkably well with the existing stellar line up. Penny Dread continues with the same incredible stride and style it found in season two. This truly incredible show comes to a stunning finale, and despite ending at its best, and arguable far too soon, it ends for the right reasons.
This stunningly beautiful masterpiece is a must watch, I only wish there were more shows like it!
